I thought I'd send some pictures of the dancing but there were too many pics for one email.
877 The dance group in tribal costume. This dance was very forceful, parts of it reminded me of the South Pacific hapa.
882 This is the Whirling Dervish. I said in my journal that he spun for 10 minutes or more. Diana says that it was at least 15 and might have been 20. In this picture he has lifted the top layer of his outfit to expose the colors.
891 Here he has turned the lights in the outfit on and lifted the top layer over his head and was spinning it faster than he was spinning. I don't think the picture captures the entire illusion. Keep in mind the lights are just dots so the streak of light you see is how far the LED was moving in about 1/60th of a second. I think it's about 6 inches. If my math is correct the outermost edge of his outfit it moving at over 17mph. (6 inches x 60 = 360 inches a second = 30 feet per second = 20.5mph) At times before he lit the outfit he was spinning at least twice as fast as that at times. He was always changing position and pace.
894 This picture needs little explanation. How about those shoes?
926 The dance troupe in the royalty outfits. This dance was much more graceful although at times very fast.
